What a fantastic season we’ve had selling pizza slices for pickleball in Northstar Village. Thank you so much to Rubicon Pizza for choosing TTPC as your beneficiary this year. More than 50 volunteers sold delicious slices of plain and peperoni, raising more than $10,000 for pickleball courts.
Our deepest thanks to Rubicon Pizza, and owners Ray and Christine Villaman, for also giving $25,000 to the project. Ray is a Truckee Tahoe Pickleball Club member, and we can never thank him enough for all his support. We love you,Ray!
So many thanks to Ruppert Inc., a local firm, for committing to do the dirt work - excavation and grading - at the site. This work is valued at more than half a million dollars. It means that every dollar we raise through donations and sponsorships goes directly to construction of the pickleball courts.
The courts will be ADA compliant so people of all abilities will be able to play pickleball at River View Park.
Our deepest thanks to Martis Camp Foundation for giving us $330,000 in grants to build the pickleball complex at River View Sports Park! This is one of the foundations biggest grants to date.
